6 weeks(14 February - 26 March 2026) hiring a campervan with BANZ was a great pleasure. The (interior) size of the van for 2 persons was just perfect, in combination with easy driving and parking. We hired a Banz Deluxe campervan for April/May 2026 - couldn't recommend them enough! This was the 6th campervan I've hired in Australia/NZ and this was by far the best I've encountered. Not only was it equipped with anything you could possibly need, the van could handle any road we took it on (we did over 3000 miles/5000km including motorways, mountain passes and unsealed roads), the Apple CarPlay made SatNav easy and we had plenty to keep us warm and dry at night too. What is more, it was the best value campervan at an affordable price, and you have the joy of organising it and communicating with Kurt too. There was no question he couldn't answer and he has been the most reasonable and understanding hirer I've ever hired a van from.

Goede, persoonlijke service. De campervan zat logistiek heel goed en praktisch in elkaar. De camper vertoonde geen noemenswaardige defecten, was krachtig qua motorvermogen en  was compact met toch een breed bed. Verder was het voertuig betrekkelijk nieuw. Couldn’t recomend Banz enough - if you’re looking for a van for a NZ trip look no further and book this right now. We had a Toyota Hiace which felt brand new and very luxury, and was significantly cheaper than the big companies we looked at with no hidden extras. We picked up in Christchurch and dropped in Auckland a month later. The van had everything we needed and felt super spacious despite not being overly big so was easy to drive. People we met along the way said it was the best fit out they’d seen and the best use of space. Comfy bed, lots of bedding, everything we could need and more for cooking, table & chairs etc. We seriously didn’t want for anything. Kurt was lovely as was Graham who we picked it up from in Christchurch. We felt very sad handing it back but we will defo be doing it again!

Eigentlich reichen 5 Sterne gar nicht aus!
Absolut toller und ein sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit Kurt. Kleine Probleme konnten wir schnell und unkompliziert lösen - Top♡
So durften wir 6 unbeschwerte und famose Monate in Neuseeland erleben. Der Camper ist clever ausgebaut und prima ausgestattet  uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.

Absoluut een aanrader, in één woord: geweldig! Nieuw-Zeeland is natuurlijk al een prachtig land, maar we hadden van tevoren niet beseft hoeveel extra comfort en vrijheid een goede camper kan bieden.

Vanaf het eerste moment was de communicatie perfect. Kurt is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam: we werden zelfs opgehaald bij het treinstation en hij nam alle tijd om alles rustig en duidelijk uit te leggen.

De Toyota Hiace Gen6 - Grande was erg comfortabel, van alle gemakken voorzien, en enorm schoon. Dankzij de lithium batterij hoefden we ons geen zorgen te maken over stroom, wat het reizen nog relaxter maakte. We konden hierdoor op ieder gewenst moment op freedom campings staan of op non-powered sites. Een fantastische ervaring!

Meine Frau und ich wurden in Christchurch  am Flughafen abgeholt und zu Camper gefahren.
Wir fuhren 5 Wochen störungsfrei durch Neuseeland.
Der Camper ist ein Raumwunder.
Es war das erstemal in einem Camper,
Sicher nicht das letzte mal.
Man kann den Toyota Benziner mit 11,5Liter auf 100km fahren.
Wir haben den Camper im Headquater bei Kurt nahe Auckland persönlich abgegeben und wurden nach Auckland an den Flughafen gefahren.

Ich war insgesamt 1,5 Monate mit Kurts Camper in Neuseeland unterwegs, und es war eine der besten Entscheidungen meiner gesamten Reise.

Als ich mich für Kurts Camper entschieden habe, war ich bereits in Neuseeland. Noch vor der Buchung nahm sich Kurt die Zeit, mir den Camper persönlich zu zeigen und all meine Fragen in Ruhe zu beantworten, ganz ohne Druck. Das hat mir von Anfang an ein sehr gutes und sicheres Gefühl gegeben.

Schon beim ersten Treffen wirkte Kurt auf mich offen, freundlich und absolut verlässlich. Dieser Eindruck hat sich während meiner gesamten Reise bestätigt. Wenn etwas war oder ich eine Frage hatte, konnte ich ihn jederzeit kontaktieren und bekam sofort eine Rückmeldung. Gerade als Alleinreisende war das unglaublich wertvoll, ich war zwar allein unterwegs, hatte aber jederzeit das Gefühl, einen starken und zuverlässigen Partner im Hintergrund zu wissen.

Auch der Shuttle vom und zum Flughafen verlief schnell und unkompliziert. Graham holte mich ab und brachte mich am Ende meiner Reise wieder zurück. Gemeinsam mit Sue übergab er mir den Camper und erklärte alles ausführlich. Beide waren genauso herzlich und freundlich, was den Start in mein Abenteuer noch angenehmer machte.

Der Camper selbst ist hervorragend ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für eine längere Reise braucht. Das gesamte Konzept ist durchdacht. Alles ist sauber, es werden schöne Bettwäsche und große, weiche Handtücher bereitgestellt, Details, die den Unterschied machen und das Reisen noch komfortabler gestalten.

Im Camper kann man bequem aufrecht stehen, was gerade bei größeren Menschen und längeren Aufenthalten enorm wichtig ist. Durch die vielen Fenster ist er hell und freundlich, lässt sich aber auch komplett verdunkeln. Ich habe meine Zeit im Camper wirklich geliebt. Für mich war er ein sicheres, gemütliches Zuhause auf Zeit und ehrlich gesagt wäre ich am liebsten noch länger damit unterwegs gewesen.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Kurt, Graham und Sue für diese wunderbare Erfahrung.
